Fashion and tattoos have been in the news this week.

First the good news, fashionistas are all abuzz about ‘Les Trompe L'Oeil de Chanel, the rather gorgeous temporary tattoos from Chanel.

The Chanel Temporary Skin Art tattoo collection, are detailed and rather feminine designs based on those created by Peter Philips for the Chanel sp 10 fashion show. They are affordable enough to suit any budget-minded whim, and best of all, quite temporary.

Armani spices up lingerie and jeans with Megan Fox as its new face, and then some

Giorgio Armani unveils the first images of actress Megan Fox appearing in the official worldwide advertising campaigns for Emporio Armani Women’s Underwear and Armani Jeans, for Spring/Summer 2010.

"Megan is young and sexy and has a lot of spirit. Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans are all about a youthful attitude making her the perfect choice for the collections," said Giorgio Armani.

The Armani ads were shot on location in Los Angeles by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and will roll out starting from February around the world in fashion and lifestyle magazines and on signature billboards in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo.

We just loved the way Emma Watson look all dolled up in Burberry at the spring show.

Guess, they did too!

Retail Remedy: Have yourself a very modern Christmas full of simple and clean artistic references...

Both luxury retailer Lanvin Paris and luxury department store Le Bon Marche take an artistic turn for their Christmas windows.

I especially like the clever holiday windows at the Lanvin men's and women's shop that have a surreal post-modern art feel.

Very modern and dramatic mannequins are tipped to 45 degree angles as if windswept to the next party. Or, perhaps the literal feel of New Year's Day.
