Pavane for a Dead Princess, is Rick Owens’ first presentation of furniture design in the United StatesRick Owens’ design vision melds archaism with modernism, brutal beauty with uncompromising luxury, whether in his collectible cool chic clothes or sterling foray into home design.

Inspiration not to be missed: In an Inspired by French composer Maurice Ravel’s composition for solo piano written in 1899 and presented by Salon 94 and Rudy Weissenberg, the centerpiece of the bedroom interior by Rick Owens is a towering Spanish alabaster headboard above a low-lying bed, a monumental composition that dominates the room.

20th century icons, Le Corbusier, Luigi Moretti, and Donald Judd are referenced in Owens’ furniture design. His concept for a total domestic environment echoes those championed by Jean Michel Frank and Pierre Chareau.
