Designer Laura Poretzky's made in Manhattan line, Abaeté (pronounced ah-BYE-ah-tay), has been creating quite a stir. The clothes are sold in some of the most fashion-forward boutiques and her limited-edition designer fall shoe collection, Abaeté for Payless has plenty of mass appeal.
