In what are probably one of the most visually stunning New York Christmas windows, Bergdorf Goodman creates artful displays that recreate the feel of the dioramas of the Natural History Museum.

The store’s Fifth Avenue windows are an opulent white on white homage to the four seasons, plus holiday all combining the unique mix of natural wonders and Bergdorf Goodman luxury fashion. While the East 58th Street and Bergdorf Goodman Men’s Store windows create a more allegorical display of animals and fashion. East 57th Street windows are a whimsical play on black, white, plus red. All are absolutely amazing and quite a scene to get your turn to photograph.

Art takes a stance on exotic furs and animal testing for cosmetics…

There’s no secret of our lack of love for animal cruelty or vanity furs, and our fascination with street art. So when they meet head-on, we are there. Thought provoking inspiration comes where you find it. Style is all around you, if only you keep your eyes open.

First, we’ve noticed the massive rat graffiti on sides on several downtown buildings. Our favorite is the “There’s no such thing as good publicity” rat on Houston Street. After some research, we find it’s from the elusive yet in your face British artist, Banksy. And, really a cryptic precursor promo to the more major art installation cum pseudo retail space.

Who said you can’t find chic in the highest mountains?

Ok, we know that Jackson Hole is relatively fashion-free. It’s where Patagonia is my Prada and Marmot is my Margiela, and our Western is Marlboro Man iconic.

After awhile you really want to go gaga for shoes not for their traction, but for their style appeal… what you wear in Jackson Hole, stays in Jackson Hole!

Yeah, the Grand Tetons are amazing, the air is crystal clear but I am jonesing big time for a “real” fashion fix… I may have an escape in Wyoming, but I AM a New Yorker true and true.
