They’re fabulous, but can you walk in them?
We’re spotting girls all over the place wearing the most to-die-for uber glam towering heels. Heels so high, that they verge on fetish shoes. Now, these aren’t old school stiletto fu*ck-me-pumps.
They are covetable chunky, sculpted works of art for your feet.
We love them. We are in awe of them . We want them to sit on our dresser and gawk at them like a puppy in love.
But do we want to wear them? Hell no.
You see, the difference between being fashionable and a fashion victim is to wear clothing that not only looks terrific and flattering, but is useful. Shoes are used for walking. If you cannot balance, no matter how amazing, gorgeous, and expensive your shoes are, you look ridiculous!
I’ve seen hobbling, tripping, limping, teetering fashionistas all week long at the Tents and around town who simply cannot manage a graceful step in their precariously trendy and steep shoes.
Give it up, girls!
Get the look of a major shoe but bring the heel down an inch or two to a more realistic and tall 4” heel that you can walk in. And, let us not forget that I addicted to high heels and the way they make you stand.
However, some of us can mange a crazy high heel, others cannot. Know your heel height limits—heels that you can walk in is far more stylish than a broken ankle.
