Jennifer Fisher - Layering Isn’t Just For Clothes…

Boho chic has become a staple wardrobe from Melrose to Sunset and I have absolutely been taken by the whole trend.  My favorite look consists of a skinny jean, loose tank, vest, and strappy flat sandals.

Accessorize with a fun printed scarf and tons of jewelry and voila!  You get the boho feel without fully converting into a hippie.

This jewelry trend is an easy look you can do without having to break the bank and the best part is that its kind of an ‘anything goes’ look.  When it comes to accessories, its best to get pieces that really speak to you and show a bit of your personality.  This is a great thing to do with jewelry because there is so much out there to choose from!

I recently met with Los Angeles jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher and her entire line is based on pieces you can mix and match, layer, and personalize.  There are the gold engraved dog tags or the gothic silver letters embellished with black pave diamonds.

Also, think of the ‘Carrie’ necklace jewelry trend as a thing of the past!  One great necklace Fisher designs has a horizontal tag where your name can be jewel embellished, engraved, or written in gold.  There are also some gorgeous charms such as shields, crests, insects, twigs, and lightning bolts.

My favorite piece of the Jennifer Fisher collection has to be the gold double finger ring.  It has such a simplicity to it that no longer do I think of the gaudy hip-hop ring, but rather a chic city girl take on it.  And her cocktail rings have beautiful large stones in various colors.  The best part is that sometimes, lets face it, more is more.  So stack on the bangles, grab the big rings, or layer on those necklaces, but most of all, own it!

I just love that necklace, I actually have something similar to that and I’m interested to find the stylish men’s necklace.
