First Lady Gowns at the Smithsonian Behind the Scenes Video

Yesterday, we brought you the news of Michelle Obama’s Inaugural Gown, designed by Jason Wu, being added to the “First Ladies Collection” at the Smithsonian Institute of American History in Washington, D.C.

Today, we are delighted to share a very fascinating behind the scenes video of preparing the gowns for the First Ladies Exhibition.

Not only do you get to close-up details of some of the First Lady dresses, which include Mrs Obama’s, but you also get inside tidbits, such as how the exhibition used to be called, “Dresses of the Mistresses of the White House.”
