Jennifer Fisher – Layering Isn’t Just For Clothes…Boho chic has become a staple wardrobe from Melrose to Sunset and I have absolutely been taken by the whole trend. My favorite look consists of a skinny jean, loose tank, vest, and strappy flat sandals.Accessorize with a fun printed scarf and tons of jewelry and voila! You get the boho feel without fully converting into a hippie. This jewelry trend is an easy look you can do without having to break the bank and the best part is that its kind of an ‘anything goes’ look.Published on October 30, 2008

Say it like you mean it…It’s two weeks less one day before the election and honestly, we cannot believe there are still undecideds out there. Go out and give the push or you might end up with the political team of your worst nightmare.Ticket to style- The ‘Vote’ message on clothing can get a little tacky looking but top designers have taken their turn on the runway and we’ve found a few more less precious and equally poignant ways to express the power of choice. Plus, a snap of our favorite Vote graffiti this week.Published on October 22, 2008
Mr. Blackwell: 1922-2008He was our favorite be-atch. We’ve been covering his Worst Dressed Fashion List with glee for years. While we may not have always agreed with Mr. Blackwell, we certainly enjoyed the chuckle.Mr. Blackwell was the forerunner of the celebrity fashion zingers and without him paving the way, who knows, maybe Joan Rivers would be as sweet as a pageant girl in front of the judges.Published on October 21, 2008
A Couture Wonderland…The Lana Fuchs Couture fashion show was an opulent mash of party dresses, gowns, bold prints and colors, ruffles, fringe, and so much more! I do love, however, that they kept the make-up and hair minimal at best so that all the attention could be focused on the clothing. The hair was pulled away from the face, smooth but loosely set. A nude lip and cat eyes were all they needed to top it off. There was a great little selection of printed dresses on the runway that I couldn’t get my mind off.Published on October 20, 2008
