Fake
E-mails
We only send on-topic e-mails to our list of opt-in members who chose to join our mailing list or in response to your e-mail letter. We NEVER sell mailing list names or gather information for any other purpose other than your agreed use as mentioned in our Privacy Policy.
However, there are a lot of sleazebags out there…
Email Spoofing is when a domain name is forged in an e-mail. You receive an unsolicited e-mail in which the from field of an e-mail appears to have originated from a certain legitimate domain name or person, but actually is a fraudulent email to lure the recipient into opening spam and possibly respond to their solicitations.
A real, legitimate email address can be tracked by the IP address that appears in the header of the e-mail, but that’s a bit too techy for most of us to figure out. However, that’s why there are tech experts who provide the evidence to pass on to spam abuse agencies.
We only send on-topic- that’s fashion, beauty, and style- emails which all appear to have the look and feel of our site. We do not send out annoying offers for meds, financing, and other common spam topics. Again, we NEVER sell mailing list names or gather information for any other purpose than your agreed use.
If you should ever receive a spoofed e-mail that claims to have originated from our domain name/site, please copy the entire e-mail and paste it into the “Enter message here” box on our Contact Us page addressed to Customer Service for our techies to analyze.
Do accept our apologies and keep in mind that our site has nothing to do with these spoofed offers- we are merely a victim of spammers as you are the victim of receiving their junk.
