Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 Runway Review: Walking into the retro vignette presentation for the Spring 2013 collection was like attending the most lovely picnic with the girls and added guests Beetlejuice and Alice in Wonderland! A punchy mix of soft sorbets and bold bright colors played on the shift dresses, gowns, and suitings exuding a playful and feminine attitude.

Every fabric and texture under the sun seems featured in the ranging in draped chiffons, allover beading and rhinestones, lurex knits, chunky laces, and structured crepes – there is really nothing you can’t have and it makes the line so versatile.
Whether you are going to a garden party, and evening formal fete, or wanting to liven up your office wardrobe, there is something for everyone. Well, everyone being an uber-sweet and feminine girl wanting to sport a colorful wardrobe with a vintage flair! Known originally for their signature pants, that is the one item very under-featured. Instead it is an array of short shift dress, fit n’ flare or dropped waist dresses, long gowns, textured sleeveless sweater dresses, and plenty of peplums.
