Dear Gorgeous Darlings,
Designer Victoria Bartlet’s VPL collection has that certain air of off-handed quirkiness, mixed with extremely wearable, well-cut classics that only a former stylist could pull off.
This fall’s collection is a homage to “Modern Suffragettes,” pioneering women through time.
But what I are see is a collection that evokes that downtown sensibility of the real Helmut Lang, Martin Margiela, Costume National, and all those great designers who can make effortless so edgy and timeless. The boots and bags are to-die-for! –S.H.
