Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu Fall 2014 both riffed on the 60’s & 70’s with bold and statement making style, making them the most inventive collections at Paris Fashion week…
Always one to look forward, Nicolas Ghesquiere’s much anticipated debut at Louis Vuitton presented his signature mix for Balenciaga, using that range of hits for a powerful demonstration on cool day dressing. The lot was modern, sporty and most importantly, wearable in a way that will transform the way one feels.
At Miu Miu, designer Miuccia Prada, always one for a hybrid mix as well, took to the sixties by updating naive collegiate anoraks and mini dresses with unexpected hits of bright pvc panels, and pastel metallic brocades.
