    >>More: Runway Pictures & Shows

    Balenciaga-

Taking his cue from the illustrated works of celebrated fashion artist Antonia Lopez and 80′s era French power dressing from the likes of Mugler & Montana, Nicolas Ghesquiere’s latest outing didn’t abandon his signature takes on 60′s sci-fi, cool street wear and Balenciaga-isms -instead, they were super-charged.

While the solid pants in off-colors could be the easiest ideas to lift from the outing, there was plenty of new styling tricks to take advantage of this season.

Contrasting nylon peplum belts who’s folds give the waist a break to keep you looking leaner, v-shaped tailored jackets, and 80′s inspired over-sized knits in pop colors should be your top notes to take away from this collection.

    Celine-

A perennial favorite, Phoebe Philo’s vision at Celine has come to such an enviable frenzy that it’s become more than clear that her studied take on confident minimalism with a cool streak is here to stay.

Pre-Fall worked as no exception for the house as it was full of gorgeous sportswear with a studied attitude heavy on the slick.

New additions included oversized men’s inspired silhouettes, sculpted tops, vivid tribal prints and unexpected blocks of white including a pristine white maxi with a full waist and contrasting knee-high boots that displayed a new take on trompe l’oeil footwear.

    J.W Anderson-

J.W Anderson’s latest outing was rife with sophisticated options in the street wear arena that are sure to keep you looking completely original and put together while still retaining a monumental cool factor.

In shapes vaguely reminiscent of Nicolas Ghesquiere’s early days at Balenciaga with updated takes on 60′s era mod go-to’s, it’s destined to turn heads on the likes of the Alexa Chung’s of the world.

But that doesn’t mean the cool allure of his styles should be considered exclusive to those in the know. Turn heads your own way this season by looking for pieces in his chosen bubble shapes and pair them with a simple, elevated flat for an attitude that’s fresh.

    Marni-

Kookily styled signatures made Marni’s latest offering a winner with its delightfully irreverent mix of sportif, ladylike and retro in a 60′s & 70′s mash-up with take away pieces almost anyone could enjoy.

While the bags were a tad on the young side as the appeal is quirky, obvious vintage, the footwear was as covetable and distinct as ever.

Diverse in its spectrum,  reference the collection piece by piece as something similar should pick your look up now. Take note and look for colorblocked socks as the weather gets warmer this season for a fun optical play.
