Zero + Maria Cornejo Spring 2013 Runway Review: The Zero + Maria Cornejo Spring 2013 line is a mix of structure and draped slouch, with a very modern edge, and dark, some seemingly Autumnal colors – with a final splash of bright white.
Cornejo keeps up the scuba-meets-day-wear trend, and showcases asymmetrical, slouchy dresses in bold graffiti-esque prints.

I am particularly in love with the scuba material and curved structure it adds to the line with the variety of jackets and dresses; very particularly the zip front tube dress – incredibly sexy.
There are layering pieces a plenty with vests, cropped leather, and soft bombers.
A geometric jacquard sweater bomber has my name written all over, paired with a slim scuba pant is perfect attire for cocktails at the Wythe Hotel!

Balancing out the structured pieces are airy dresses with handkerchief hems in solids or radical colored prints. Going along with this soft balance are a few necklace accessories featuring a curved metal piece behind the neck attached to thin, flowing chains of shimmering glass beads – absolutely chic and feminine. — Alix Kivlin
