Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week- Backstage at Franck Sorbier

With all the pomp and circumstance of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, we can all use some artistic whimsy

Real couture, not of the juicy variety, is all about the mastery, the fabulousness, the uniqueness of its garments that are worn by a select few hundred women across the world who can afford the luxury. Or, the lucky brand ambassador actress who gets to strut a couture gown on the red carpet for the occasion.

French fashion designer Franck Sorbier presented more of an avant garde art piece for his Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2010-2011 collection, and we just love it!

We would love to see Katy Perry wearing this paper and clothespin design before Lady Gaga crumbles up a newspaper with her photo on it and tapes it up as her “original’ design”… merely a suggestion.
