Where else can you see a cavalcade of iconic red carpet fashion up close and very personal?

So close that you can even tell which star is a bit on the busty side or which one is ever so tiny. I’m not snitching ’cause you better go see for yourself!

Inside the Armani Red Carpet Retrospective

For the past 20 years, Giorgio Armani has worked his design magic on countess celebrities at an ongoing stream of red carpet events. Days before the 2010 Academy Awards, the apex of the red carpet season, Mr. Armani has turned his 5th Avenue store and its windows into a museum of sorts to display the exclusive dresses actually worn by the stars at red carpet events.

You can’t miss the incredible haute couture Armani Privé collaborations that Lady Gaga wore to the 2010 Grammy Awards– the unbelievable ‘satellite’ creation is front and center in the store window… crystal panties and all.

Beyonce wore this at the Grammy Awards

The crystallized mini that Beyonce wore to the same Grammy’s is also there– so modern and chic!

It is pretty amazing!

Also on display is the dress that Anne Hathaway wore to the 2009 Golden Globe Awards, the dress Halle Berry wore to the 2003 SAG Awards, the gown Alicia Keys wore to the 2009 Academy Awards, and the dress Penelope Cruz wore to the 2010 Golden Globe Awards and many, many others..
