Vivid Colors Add Punch & Spunk To An Otherwise Neutral Palette

Ok, here’s some shopping advice, it’s time to brighten up

TV producers are surely rejoicing. The one-two color punch for resort is a bold mash-up of TV-friendly colors, so vivid and brilliant, that you may just want to adjust your settings… on your everyday wardrobe, that is.

These clear and crisp colors are NOT unfriendly on your skin tone as last season’s neons, but rich, intense, and crisp in a sophisticated and grown-up way.

The BEST part of this color trend is that it’s not reserved to a specific shade that dates itself (think of the Boca coral that was so overused last season), but to a breath of colors that are only restricted by your whim. Think: raspberry, fuchsia, spicy red, tangerine, lemon, turquoise, violet, periwinkle, apple, and clover.

Colors as crisp and clear as these are great accents to your neutrals, like gray, camel, black and navy. Make it seasonless and wear with black tights for winter, bare legs for resort into spring.

If you’re a bit color shy, like me, consider that EVERY wardrobe can use a jolt of color here and there. Add a vivid blouse, a brilliant scarf, a fab wallet (you can find it in your bag), or even, go for broke with a standout dress.

I pulled some special pieces for you to savor the palette of possibilities:
