Fall Trend Accessories Report- Camels and Tans

Day two at our look at Fall 2011 with StyleSight’s Top Trends has us in neutral with the season’s rerun of heritage minded camel & tan offerings.

And while cosmetic tones have dominated colorways for the last few season’s, the new neutrals of today in peach, taupe and sand work their way full circle back to one of the easiest tones of all, khaki.

That’s right, khaki is no longer reserved for the preppy set.

Instead, its been re-imagined in an an array of propositions from hats to the now ubiquitous pleated trouser in tones that range from cool to warm.

Think tortoise eye wear and ethnic minded ivory horn jewelry, a classic camel coat, or a sophisticated cloche in a range of tones from khaki to camel to rich expresso.

And if working with tan pieces works against your more urbane, moody inclinations or just isn’t right for you, what about picking up a sophisticated, grown-up bucket or streamlined bag in the season’s must-have python skin, allowing you to work in some texture while introducing a little bit of lightness into your look. – Naveed Hussain
