Rebecca Taylor Fall 2010 Fashion Show Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York

Runway Review: Loaded with layering separates, clean lines and chic faux furs that were right in step with the seasons emergent trends

For her Fall 2010 Collection Rebecca Taylor traded out her favored florals, floaty, flirty shapes, dresses and candy floss colors for a slightly more modern, refined feeling line-up of animal prints, tailored tweeds, sweater knits and earth tones.

The result was loaded with layering separates, clean lines and chic faux furs that were right in step with the seasons emergent trends.

A sage wool boucle mini dress came without embellishment of any kind but for graphic seaming, structured shoulders and killer boots in charcoal stretch suede so high that there wasn’t a peek of flesh anywhere.

These boots, (which appeared in a majority of the looks) had the look skinnies and anchored easy to love wardrobe go-tos like clean-lined faux leopard and jaguar dusters over crisp button downs long enough for the young-ones to forgo bottoms of any kind.
