Why not try a white jacket?

I’ll Have What She’s Having: A proper white jacket that’s seasonless + chic ala Sharon Stone in Roberto Cavalli & J.Crew Spring 15

It’s been a crazy month or so with filming over 35ish videos for my C’est Chic program (outfit changes for each), traveling, spending casual time at my place out West, and back to the NYC grind just in time for school to start for my son and Fashion Week.

I feel like I’ve been in a closet wonderland whirl and, honestly, could use a day in yoga pants (thank you flu for making that day today).

Here’s the thing, with almost every reach into my closet, I keep thinking that I need a proper white jacket.

A bit like the Roberto Cavalli tux version that Sharon Stone is wearing, above, that I could also dress down, or more laid back like the J.Crew version shown (a nice riff on a pricey Balmain styling that’s the montage above) at the end of video snip below from their New York Fashion Week Spring 2015 presentation earlier.

I found this Mural Slouchy Boyfriend Blazer as a great hybrid, with a fab price too!

Either tux or man-tailored, I see a white jacket as a great transition piece into cooler days that doesn’t quite have the “I’m ready for fall” vibe. See more of the J.Crew white jacket with tzjued up slim fatigue pants below…

Or, something to throw on my shoulders to lighten up a classic black dress, or over black ankle crops or full leg trousers.

As much as a I like the monochromatic white tux look, it’s really not my thing. How about you? tell me in the comments below…
