Runway Review: This collection is destined to have something every girl won’t want to take off all season

While Wayne Lee has made quite a name for her self in just a few short season’s with her urban minded label Wayne amongst the "IT" girls out there with a never ending need for body-con party looks, her Fall 2010 collection was a smart move in the "something for everyone" direction

Here she used sweatshirt fabrications with contrasting leather and fur panels for a look that was linear yet less unforgiving while slightly louche. And while city dressing comes with a familiar if not redundant vibe, Lee’s use of geometric outerwear mixed with abstract zebra & camo prints and a subtle use of color with bursts of saffron, rust and army green proved a fresh alternative to standard black.

Her first use of fur thanks to a collaboration with Saga furs was counterbalanced by a clever use of faux leather and faux fur that somehow worked alongside the real-deal while hitting a competitive range of price-points and aesthetics.
