Dear Gorgeous
Darlings,
Designer Charles Nolan's spring collection's
inspiration comes from a photo of his grandmother on her wedding day andmore
recently, of his niece on the day of her first Communion. Both
images reflect ceremony, tradition, joy, and dressing for the occasion.
Nolan's collection portrays the refined and deliberate elegance of
yesteryear with a modern bend, complete with oversized, lightweight
millinery that has sun protection in mind and featherweight, oversized
papier-mâché pearls inspired by Maharajas' Jewels. Lovely, refined, and
elegant!
A special note of kindness goes to frontrower Mary Kerry,
sister of John, who took the time to appreciate my young son's
collection of pro-Kerry political cartoons which he carries.
