There are those of us who barely remember our own name. For this group, the monogram fad is, shall we say, a no-brainer. But what if the classic embroidered monogram is just not your thing?
Well, Halle Berry, Cameron Diaz, and Elizabeth Hurley have been upping the ante by getting very personal with their watches.
By now, we’ve lightened our load in more ways than one can humanly imagine. But in a world of downsizing, some things that hog more real estate do make a grander statement.
Take watches with super-size bands. The wide cuff watchstrap has been rocking on very fashionable wrists of late. Trendsetters alike have been sporting chunky, leather wrists cuffs that raise the cool factor of a simple t-shirt in a snap.
When a special request comes from L.A.’s Kitson boutique (where the trendy stars shop), a smart designer gets cracking. So, Jayne Gottschalk, designer of Splash Watches morphed two of the hottest looks around and came up with a big, bold, hand-carved leather initial on her signature wide leather cuff.
Forget about designer logos, isn’t it about time for your own initials to be enough?
