Growing up in Brooklyn, NY as a total city girl I never thought that one day I would have a foothold in the Cowboy State!
Yes, the teen who once went hiking in platform snakeskin stilettos (cousins, do you remember?) spends a chunk of the year out west. How lucky is my son to have the best of both worlds being a New Yorker who also has the Grand Teton a few minutes from his vacation place?
I call my winter time out west my White Space, where I chill (literally) and regroup for what’s in store for the new year.
It will be a BIG year as it’s lucky 15. I celebrated my 15th wedding anniversary, my son is 15, and FocusOnStyle is entering its 15th year online. CRAZY, how fast time flies.
I am so honored that you take the time out of your very busy lives to be part of my style posse and find value in what I do. Together, we can make the world a more beautiful place!
That said, I want to wish you all a very happy & healthy New Year and share a piece of the West with you in this video message that I recorded today when my family & I took a little nature drive.
Isn’t it beautiful out here? I love it so but after a while I can’t wait to head back to New York and the excitement of my asphalt jungle… if only the flight was shorter :(.
