Call it a sartorial coincidence that within days of each other two gorgeous actresses made a strong case for winter pinks while championing the warm-weather hue as an option for woman of all ages and skin tones.

While Ginnifer Goodwin is at the moment a dark haired raven beauty with a milky complexion and used her dress to punctuate her modern approach to fashion, Kate Beckinsale on the other hand, managed to use her dress’s saturated color as a foundation to accentuate her toned, tan figure.

Ginnifer Goodwin worked a startlingly intense pepto-pink dress from Roksanda Ilincic at The People’s Choice Awards that was brought to reality in an elegant, bell-sleeved silhouette to lend the old-school glamour of her dress’s shape a completely modern vibe.

Actress Kate Beckinsale used a bold pink dress paired with a retro-inspired ponytail and jumbo turquoise earrings to gently highlight her warm winter tan while filming a recent interview in Los Angeles.
