How to survive winter weather and look

Hit by that first blast of winter snow, freezing weather, gusting winds, and
your sense of style can be on a slippery slope.
There are those style sisters who trudge ahead mindless of the bad winter
weather in delicate, flimsy footwear thinking they look chic—but we consider
them to look pretty dumb! A smart and stylish fashionista knows that looking
great means dressing appropriately for the weather. You don’t have to
dress one part fashion darling and one part Ethan Frome to bear the elements,
there are certainly enough stylish
boots to keep your feet waterproof and toasty
too.

We love the look of
La Canadienne
boots that are guaranteed waterproof and
have a very stylish high-ish heel- you’ll look gorgeous from your front door
right to a business meeting, and all the out to dinner without getting your
tootsies wet. For more casual days, go chalet chic and pair a groovy looking
après ski boot with a pair of dark leggings and big, cuddly sweater
dress--add a structured jacket to keep to a more urban feel.
Those
sheepskin boots have been hanging around for awhile, this season they are
updated with prints and textures—we love the faux cable knit pattern on the
