Patricia Clarkson In YSL – Age Appropriate or Aging?

You’ve got that perfect gala gown, you’re in great shape, don’t let your insecurities get the best of you!

She looks great, in great shape and all, no doubt about it, yet her plain black opera length gloves and caped neck give off a look that’s closer to a gothic maven rather than a starlet trying to recapture old-school Hollywood glamor.

If you’re looking to hide similar spots the next time all eyes are on you, consider cloaking yourself with a breezy sheer chiffon capelet, or something along the lines of one for a lighter, more flirty vibe.

And for hiding those hands, yeah, we know they are one of the first signs of going down that worrisome road of aging, but we suggest going for a shorter glove, a sheer glove or something with optical interest via embroidery, contrasting panels or a print. Or what about no gloves at all for a look that says ‘I’m here & I’ve got nothing to hide!’
