Golden Globes fashion 2016 is rather uninteresting in a very good way. Honestly, (most) everyone looked chic and elegant. There was barely a misstep and the looks were clean and stunning. Kinda sorta like the way we want to look. Nothing fussy. Nothing overdone. Mostly streamlined and well-edited.  The secret to a great look is to keep it simple + keep it striking. Get Some Drama: Dark smokey eyes are perfect for New Year’s Eve

For me, the easiest way to glam up any look is by way of a black rimmed smokey eye. My preferences change from time to time, currently I'm loving a smudge of Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour and then using an angled brush with a light dusting of black shadow to blend and define. At the moment, I'm drawn to this method over my usual black pencil, powder, and maybe even liner.  That's how I do it.
