NY Fashion Week: William Rast fashion show review
William Rast | Runway Fall 2009 Collection-Mercedes Benz Fashion Week… Yet another designer going with the rock ‘n roll theme– this time via Justin Timberlake– but this so far has been my favorite interpretation. Yes we are feeling the 80’s, yes we are feeling the punk rock, but in addition we are feeling the grunge / hipster vibe which helps to tone it down a bit and gives a sort of all American look. First off the William Rast collection is 70% denim which I love! Denim with studs, denim with fringe, denim with black lace, black denim with zippers…..it’s never ending how it got all tricked up. But tricked up so it does not look ridiculous, nearly every piece
