Hey Hipster Guys Mjolk Is A Men’s Style Line For You

Men's style gets a bit preppy and playfully boyish with all the right touches... Men’s Style: Adrien Brody rocks the ‘Hairy Hipster’ look

Beards and greasy hair are taking over the downtown scene… Just last night while having dinner in SoHo, I counted seven men in deliberate need of a trim and, perhaps, a bottle of shampoo. The Hairy Hipster-cum-Geek-cum-Poet-cum-Anarchist look is on a fast rise from Williamsburg to NoLita to clear out of downtown New York. I admittedly have a cringe thing for extraneous ungroomed hair in any area, but come on guys, can you at least not look like you joined the army of the great unwashed??? How about an occasional beard trim to tidy up the edges, some hair wax to make your hair look piecey but not filthy, and a perfectly worn T-shirt– without the stains?? Huh, just asking.

Wearing brown and black… Rules are for fools when it comes to men’s fashion

Wearing brown and black… Rules are for fools when it comes to men's fashion Alright, so I have a friend who professes that the brown with black rule for fashion is completely outdated. He said that its roots actually lie with royalty wearing black and lower classes wearing brown, and never the two shall meet. So, I was just wondering if it is okay to ditch the rule, as long as the accessories are the same? Thanks! (Radford, VA) Your pal needs far more than some fashion enlightening. I think you should ditch the twit and tell him not to come back until he gets some class. Or perhaps tell Mr. Biggety to limit his attire to an a-hole friendly

Holiday attire for men… A guy’s guide to dressing festive

Holiday attire for men… A guy's guide to dressing festive I've received a Christmas Dinner invitation from my employer that states "Holiday Attire." What is considered "Holiday Attire" for men? (Tamarac, FL) Just what everyone needs to top off the most chaotic time of year is an invitation with specific fashion plate requests- especially from your boss. ‘Tis the season to be overwhelmed! Holiday dress for men is luckily not as fancy as it is for women. A guy can get away with sprucing up enough to look festive, but not to the point of looking overly foppish. When a holiday party invitation asks for "holiday attire" or "festive dress" it really means to simply not look dour and have

What men’s underwear says about his personality… Tightie-whities or Daddy-O boxers, that is the question

What men's underwear says about his personality… Tightie-whities or Daddy-O boxers, that is the question My girlfriends and I are having a fun little debate about what kind of guy wears what kind of mens underwear. It's really more of what-if question rather than the need to conduct our own private focus group- although that could be interesting! We really would like some expert insight about whether you can tell a guy's personality from the type of underwear he wears. (Reno, NV via fashion advice) Well, expert insight on men's undies is a loaded criteria that we here would rather take the fifth on! As our own cryptic undercover agent, we were able ask men and draw conclusions about what a

Men’s Style: What to wear on a date… Man starting over needs dating wardrobe

Man starting over needs dating wardrobe I find myself looking at dating again, and it's a little scary... mostly when I look in my closet. After 24 years of marriage, my wife passed away and I don't know what to wear on a date. It's been almost 30 years since I've had one. I'm 50, in good shape, with a V body: 34 to 35" waist, 45" chest. I want something stylish, but am having a hard time picking out casual clothes that aren't jeans, or end up being not casual enough. It seems that the clothing I like is really for a younger man, 25 to 30 or so. Can you help with some suggestions and perhaps stores to
