  Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen, offered a truly inspiring collection for Spring/Summer 2012 and in our books, one of the most exciting shows during Paris Fashion Week. MORE: FASHION SHOWS AND RUNWAY REVIEWS As Burton said, the collection was an exploration of ideas of beauty at their most extreme and women as objects of desire. Models had beautifully veiled eyes and expertly lace-bound heads, which immediately triggered my inspiration for illustrating some of the looks. Peter Dundas for Emilio Pucci, offered  an ultra modern gypsy-sexy catwalk look, with visible dentelle knit panties, lace embellished tops and slipdresses with embroidered beads, and breathtaking skirts and dresses with amazing detailed prints. MORE: FASHION SHOWS AND RUNWAY REVIEWS My illustrated look from the catwalk was this  ethereal, ultra sexy, stylish and see through lace embellished black dress, which with the right dentelle panties, just can’t go wrong. The makeup was also exquisite. Please welcome new FocusOnStyle Contributor Michalis Christodoulou and his discerning eye that captures the nuances of the runway through fashion illustration. -S.H. Gucci and Emilio Pucci were among my favourite Spring/Summer 2012 collections from Milan Fashion Week. My three illustrated looks are the ones I loved the most from the Gucci catwalk show.  Frida Giannini for Gucci delivered a seriously glamorous, yet very wearable collection, a blend of twenties elegance and the strong feminine style of the Gucci woman. Dresses and tops were twenties-influenced, with boyish fit,and feminine pleated chiffon skirts, main colours being white, black, green and gold.
