Paris Fashion Week: Inside + Outside Nina Ricci Fall 2014

Nina Ricci Fall 2014 The Paris insider report: I attended the Nina Ricci  Fall 2014 show during Paris Fashion Week. Held once again at the giant tent in the Tuileries by place de la Concorde, the show was last Thursday at 5PM. I got there a little early to see the pre fashion show before the show, meaning the cavalcade of fashionistas (I hate that word and have never used it, but it this case it’s appropriate) and fashion victims walking down the white vinyl runway entering the show venue. Fashionistas outside Nina Ricci fall 2014 There were smash hits but equally as many doozies a.ka. "did you bother to look in the mirror before you left the house" looks.

My friend, the NY expat & Paris insider tells us what it's like to attend a fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, particularly the Nina Ricci Spring 2014 collection. Trust us, the Spring 2014 collection is simply divine, and Richard's got the close-up's to back that up!-- S.H. My handwrttien, personal invitation- (la-di-da!) First Look- Spring 2012 Fashion Ad Campaigns

While designer collections make their runway debuts months before they hit sales floors, it's not usually until we see the ads circulate that we get a clue to the bigger picture behind the season's story and along with that a dynamic dose of dreamy inspiration. And judging by the Spring 2012 ads that have hit the web so far, it's clear that many of our favorite designers went in several directions- there's no clear-cut set of trends, instead it's a come as you are sort of moment. A 'do-your-thing' kind of season. From Prada's retro beauty's (shot by Steven Meisel, above) to Balenciaga's candidly cool girl (below), there's something for everyone to take inspiration from for the season ahead. -Naveed Hussain Chanel, photographed by
