Moncler Gamme Rouge F/W 2012 Full Collection- Paris Fashion Week

Part performance art spectacle part fashion show with a practical sensibility given their product range, there’s no denying the thrill of an all-out show from Moncler Gamme Rouge.

Fall 2012 saw designer Giambattista Valli creating a faux ski lift complete with fake snow for a parade of must-have coats and outerwear that included digital mountain prints and box plaids in the mix.

Combined with slinky patch worked chiffon dresses, sculptural a-line ra-ra skirts and bi-color pants that were the coolest we’ve seen yet, Ghesquiere

Subverted & tweaked plays on tailored workwear made for a sober yet challenging outing from the atelier of Maison Martin Margiela.

And while and a bulk of the collection was composed of tricky slashed & spliced separates that evoked a linear silhouette, there was also plenty of reworked, rethought basics to add a witty albeit overtly conceptual twist to your repertoire.
