Age-Appropriate Dress- Real Women Are Pretty Harsh When It Comes To Fashion Choices

I'll Have What She's Having: Style WITHOUT an expiration date I don't think Jane Fonda (70's), Sigourney Weaver (60's), Madonna (50's), and Demi Moore (40's) got the memo from the British ladies polled who seem to think that 30 is the new 60-- well, sort of-- when it comes to style! These gorgeous at any age celebrity ladies were probably too busy being vital rather than worrying if they are too old to wear stilettos. Yes, the study says that at age 51 you're over the hill for high heels. Can you imagine? Madonna wearing a vintage Roberto Cavalli dress from the Spring/Summer 2008 Collection out and about in NY yesterday. Listen, I'd be the first one to tell you

Alexander McQueen Retrospective Pulls Out All The Fashion Stops

Must See: Enough of the Royals, New York is mad for McQueen! Alexander McQueen must be smiling down on us. Just last week his eponymous label became a household name for non-fashionistas when Kate Middleton walked down the Royal Wedding aisle wearing a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown and changed into a second McQueen dress by for the reception. Then there are the rest of who have been mesmerized by the art of his designs that went beyond what is known as fashion and into an extraordinary realm of self-expression and creativity into a conceptual expression of culture, politics, and identity. Royal Wedding Fashion- Second Wedding Dress for Kate, Duchess of Cambridge

Another fabulous dress at the reception First, we had the wedding dress that legends are made for the morning ceremony. Then for the reception, Kate chose a second Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress. A clean and simple number without the frivolity or garishness of so many celebrity red carpet dresses is what stole the show. The white satin strapless evening gown with a circle skirt and diamante detailing around the waist was worn with a fuzzy angora shrug. Fashion Archeology: We thought you'd like to dig deep into our careers and share some fab magazine covers that Brad & I worked on together! Brad Boles and I met a million years ago when I was just starting out as a stylist- fresh from a month on location in Saint Marteen for a sportswear campaign. A model had told me that Brad was looking for a stylist to work with on some covers he was doing for VOGUE Mexico and I should meet him. Brad and I hit it off like mad-- maybe too mad at times-- and started a styling team that went on for years to come with a variety of different clients and jobs. Besides, our

Fashion Week Gossip- Oscar de Renta’s Global Revolution draws on the Silk Road, Tinsley Mortimer at Robert Verdi’s Luxe Laboratory and…

... The Genius Collection from Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig's Marchesa was truly overflowing with drama as a sure bet for the Red Carpet! Brad Boles is still terrorizing the town in fabulousness with his Blackberry... I'm sure that I love Oscar de la Renta as much as Sarah Jessica Parker does! He has drawn inspiration throughout the years from Morocco, India, and Paris in the 1920's. The fall 2011 Oscar de la Renta collection is every bit as glamorous as his previous iconic collections. Between the embellished jackets of gold bullion and sequined gowns, my source the "Debutante It Girl," was front row at the show and kept me (and you) in the loop via her cryptic texts. Oscar

Grammy Fashion- The Red Carpet That Is Thankfully Never Boring

The red carpet that won't put you to sleep It may seem a bit not (fashion) politically correct, but I cannot bare to see one more celebrity looking like a runaway prom queen or mother of the bride on the red carpet. Right in the nick of time before we have to start power-loading the style caffeine for Oscar time, comes the Grammy's... or fashion's answer to take a risk and shine. Nicki Minaj kept her signature kewpi doll kooky on and raised the bar to hugh to style in a leopard Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci "ensemble" with matching matching leopard printed belt, gloves, leggings and shoes.
